My favorite life sim game ever, Animal Crossing!

Animal Crossing is about a boy/girl (you) moving into a town with animals as neighbors. As you're on your way to the town, you get to name it and yourself. At first you need to buy your own house from a Raccoon named Tom Nook, but you need to pay the mortgage. Well that's life!

Animal Crossing screenshotYou have to work for your money from Nook, which only takes about 45 minutes to complete. After that if you pay off your mortgage then Tom Nook will offer to make your house bigger (of course you'll have to pay again). Then you're free.

You can meet your neighbors, fish, catch bugs, collect fossils, furnish your house, pay your loan, and a whole lot more. But the downside to this game is it gets old really easy. Other than that it's great. You can even play old NES games at your house. There are also special events that also happen in the real world. Like: Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, Halloween, New Year, Meteor Showers, and Bug and Fish Catching Competitions.

Here are some tips: Every day there is a certain rock in your town that gives off money, hit any rock you see with your shovel (which you can buy from Tom Nook) and if it gives off money, keep hitting it!

Animal Crossing screenshotAnother great way to get money is to get another fruit from someone else's town (make sure it's different from your town fruit) and plant it. If it grows you can get more fruit and plant them. Repeat this until you have enough fruit then sell them to Tom Nook at his store.

He will give you 500 Bells apiece! (Bells are the currency in this game). Here's the last tip. If you walk around the beach you might see a seagull laying down on the sand. Talk to him and he will give you a rare piece of furniture!

Overall, Animal Crossing is a spectacular game and I recommend everyone give it a try.
