Animal Crossing is a game that puts you as a just-moved-out from mom's adult. The game starts out with your character on a train. You meet a cat that will ask you questions. What your name is and where you're going. The answer is up to you. When you get to your town that you named you meet Tom Nook, the towns shop manager. He hooks you up with one of four houses. This is the start of your own life.

Gameplay is simple. You have to live your life by paying your house bill, fishing, getting bugs, digging up bones, and filling your towns museum. You start off with nothing, and make you way to becoming the toast of the town. By helping your animal friends in your town, paying your house off to get a bigger house and a bigger bill, filling you museum with bones, fish, bugs, and paintings.

Animal Crossing screenshotThe lifespan of the game is high. The game continues even if you're not playing. There is always something to do. Fishing contests are one thing.

The Graphics are great. To my eyes they show the Gamecube's power for a start of game.

Sound is also great. The music changes every hour. You also meet K.K. who will sing you a song on Saturdays and then give you the song for your boom box.

Overall the game is long and will keep you playing for a long time.
