An RPG lovers cup of tea.

I originally bought this game used. Being too cheap to buy a Wii, I settled for all the GCN games I'd missed out on. This was a great find at $15.

Coupling a 3-on-3 Final Fantasy-esque battle system with a not-so-standard card-based attack system, this game brings both RPG nostalgia and an interesting twist to the table.

Although the English voice acting is a little odd, and the dialog can be drawn out and awkward, the graphics and music more than compensate.

These are possibly the most beautiful and artistic graphics on the Cube. This game combines 3D CG characters and extremely detailed 2D backgrounds to create a delicious piece of eye candy.

The game is well made as far as sound is concerned, too. A lot of the game is voiced over (not just another text-after-text adventure) and the BGM is simply amazing.

Whoever was disappointed when they discovered that the US-NTSC version of Tales Of Symphonia didn't include a sound test will be overjoyed that every breathtaking track in Baiten Kaitos is available as soon as it's played in-game.

Although replay value isn't so hot on this title, the game is 2-disks and has tons of gameplay time through he first run alone.

Even if you've leaped ahead to the awesome next gen Wii, it wouldn't be a waste of time to try out 'Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and The Lost Ocean' on the spare tv while your big screen is having some defective wrist-strap induced "Wiimote pwnage downtime".
