Battalion Wars User Review

Guns, tanks and violence.

Battalion Wars is probably one of the greatest games of the Gamecube, next to Pikmin and Metroid of course. I have given this game a 10 for gameplay because it was really fun. This game is for people that aren't that interested in blood violence and more into the area of guns and tanks.

I think the game could have had more areas to play because it made the game short. The only area you could play was campaign. They could have also added a multiplayer which would have made the lifespan a lot longer. I gave this game a 4 for lifespan because it didn't last long once you played through the whole game (which is probably only 20-40 missions) there would be nothing left to do and you put the game back on your shelf and leave it there. The only thing that makes it last is the bonus missions, of which there are only four so they make you play for maybe another hour or two.

I gave a 10 for graphics because I thought they were really good. From the explosions to the tanks firing, you can really see how real it is. Exception to the blood of course the graphics were great. You can actually see your tank or whatever vehicle you have take damage, the armor on your vehicle get destroyed and see your vehicle smoke and explode for taking a lot of damage.

I gave a 10 for sound because it was really good. You can hear your weapons going off and your vehicles blow up. The sound is realistic and enjoyable if it's your opponent's vehicle blowing up.
