Tastes like cheapo chocolate.

The mario party series sums it up in their titles. Mario PARTY, meaning it's no fun if you're playing by yourself. It's like any board game, it's not supposed to be single player.
There is of course, the option to play by yourself, but to be honest it does get frightfully boring. My copy is sitting unused somewhere and probably always will be. I only bought it in the first place because it had Mario on the cover, being the biased Mario fan I am. But it's like chocolate, you know it's a wonderful invention, but some bars just don't taste as nice as the rest.
Avoid it. Only buy it if you're a games collector, I say.
