If you're a big Metroid fan and you don't like Prime, then go fall into a lava pit! This is a great game.

It's the end of 2007 and people are still wish'en for Metroid Prime for Christmas. They are asking for it because it's so darn good!

Story

Samus is back and better than ever. When Samus Aran is told by the Galactic Federation to investigate a Space Pirate laboratory she discovers that the Space Pirates are using a thing called phazon to mutate creatures. On Samus' way back to her ship, she meets Meta Ridley. Now Samus has to destroy all the "phazon experiments", get rid of Meta Ridley and find 12 keys that open up the passage to the ultimate weapon.

Gameplay

Metroid Prime is displayed in first-person view. You spend most of your time behind the visor of Samus. But you can also turn into your Morph Ball and roll around. In the game there are many hard puzzles to solve, so if you get D's on your report card in school then Metroid Prime is not a game for you. But the game also has plenty of enemies and bosses to fight.

Sound

Music in Metroid has always been spooky themes and disturbing tunes, however Metroid Prime doesn't have many. Most of its music is slow and remixes. One of the areas, Magmoor Caverns is a remix of the Lower Norfair theme in Super Metroid.

Graphics

Metroid Prime didn't really change. Samus' Varia suit still has the big round shoulders that have always been there since Metroid 2. The graphics in Metroid Prime are amazing for 2002 (the game is made by Retro Studios).

The game has no real flaws, it never slows down or freezes. But sometimes you can use glitches to skip hard parts.
