I myself have played all the prince of persia games and loved them all, but if I had to choose which one to keep, it would be this one. Everyone says that this game is very gothic, which it is, hearing enemies scream to you 'Theres so much pleasure. In pain.' is slightly disturbing .
The gameplay in this is great, there are a fountain of tactics to turn your enemies. Into a fountain! There is one move which I used a lot in particular where you slowly crumble their back until they are almost dead, grab their weapon and slice their head off with his and your weapon .
And when killing doesn't seem great enough, you can try getting past many obstacles taking advantage of the princes athlete. I also love it that you can reverse time to change what you have done wrong .
The graphics are brilliant, seeing your enemies head fly into the air feels great. Call me a killer, but once you get into this game you will see what I mean .
The only sort of let down is the sound, when slashing your opponents it sounds like you're slicing a bit of meat. When your enemies let out one final scream, it sounds like my cat when I stand on its tail. And another thing about the sound is, every now and then, your moves go to a 'slow-mo' take at a certain angle but the sound stays at the same speed, say you could hear the sword go through his neck, but it's until about 3 or 4 seconds after his head is actually coming off .
The lifespan is great, this game is very long. The only disappointment is on hard mode, the only harder part is the fighting, whilst most of the game takes place as running past obstacles, but in the difficulty the obstacles are not moved .
Overall this is a great game, if you're looking for a game to last you about a week or two while waiting for your Wii, this is the one to buy.
