A Guilty Gear title has long been rumored for Wii, now it's been confirmed at last by the developers.
Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core is said to hit the shelves in Japan on July 26th this year. It will support the Wiimote and Nunchuk combo, as well as the Classic Controller.

Just because it's 2-D doesn't mean it shouldn't be on Wii. Other than that, it's a fighting game. What's put on the Wii is Nintendo's decision. I think Nintendo made a wise choice putting Guilty Gear on Wii. I mean, GG has too many Sony releases.

I was wondering if this game is going to have a US release? Sure it's coming out in Japan, but it's useless since if it won't be coming out here. I know there's import, but I don't think I'd go out of my way to pay more than $40-50 tops for this game. Does the Wii even play imported Wii games?
