High Voltage Software has revealed a futuristic shmup game for WiiWare called Gyrostarr.
Hurtle down twisting technoplasma tracks, defeating hordes of enemies while gathering plasma to activate warp gates. I don't know how I come up with this stuff sometimes. You can also enlist the help of friends!
Oh yea there's a trailer too:
Looks pretty great to me, one to keep an eye on.

As soon as I saw the High Voltage Software logo, I knew this game was going to be good. I agree WW, this game is going to rock! But I can't help but think this would have been a good ipod game.

I have full trust in High Voltage right now. They seem to have the right idea! Note to developers: there is a hardcore Nintendo audience. Just thought you might like to know.

I wonder if this game's name and gameplay are influenced by the Konami classic "Gyruss"?
