Gotham's finest crusader is heading to the Wii and DS as announced earlier today by Warner Bros. Better yet, he'll be in LEGO form, hopefully without the nipples.
LEGO Batman: The Videogame is under development by Traveller's Tales, the same team who made the infamous LEGO Star Wars games.
Batman is expected to take a similar approach, some co-operative action with Robin is likely. The storyline goes that a number of villains have escaped from Arkham Asylum, your task is to bring them back to justice. All the usual Batman gadgets, gizmos and vehicles will be present for you to use.
No release schedule is known yet. Just pray that it doesn't turn out like the Batman & Robin movie.

"hopefully without the nipples." Did you mean "moobs"? Because honestly, the nipples didn't do anything wrong to you (especially if these are female nipples we're speaking of here).

I knew that they would make a lego batman game!

That line from Robocop was classic, then they made Robocop 3. Anyway, you would think that Arkham Asylum would beef up security after the constant breakouts but Bruce would be reduced to a mild mannered billionaire.

Traveller's Tales moved on to Lego games, I noticed. They made two Sonic games way back, for those of you who don't know.

I used to like lego star wars. That is, until my brother started playing them. He completely put me off! "Oh, please play with me, wahhh! I'm such a noob I can't pull out my lightsaber, wahh!". Let's hope he doesn't get his hands on this (if it's any good).

Well, if it actually presents a challenge (unlike LEGO Star Wars, infinite lives and cheat codes anyone?) I MIGHT consider it. Maybe.

For the fans of Lego Star Wars, I read somewhere that there might be a LEGO SW III, only instead of being based on episodes I II and III, it's only based on Revenge of the Sith. For some reason when I looked at the cover of the game (don't get me wrong it looks awesome) I could see Boba Fett in the bottom right. Anakin is in the middle with Obi-Wan next to him on the right and then in between him and Boba Fett is someone dressed in black. On the Left next to Anakin is Yoda and then Sideous (from my memory anyway). I think I know why Lucas Arts won't base the game on Episode I or II. Because since the character customizer was introduced, they would have to make Darth Maul's light saber staff and in other colours with different movements. And the way normal sabers would react to them and when using two lightsabers ala Anakin vs Dooku Episode II, would also implement too many complicated movements. Oh well, at least we get Greivous.
