MoH Heroes 2 Wii details

MoH Heroes 2 Wii details

A recent interview with EA brought out a few snippets of info about Medal of Honor: Heroes 2, some already known, some new.

  • Online multiplayer to feature up to 32 players.
  • The online system will allow players to drop in and out without needing to wait for a new session to begin (cool).
  • All the important modes of play like Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture The Flag are in.
  • No friend codes required because the games are hosted by EA.
  • It runs at 60fps, includes both a proper campaign and an on-rails mode for n00bs (ok, "casual gamers").

You have to say it sounds promising, especially if you're into online war shooters.

Sweet. I'm extra excited about this because I just played the demo for Medal of Honor: Airborne on 360 and it was fun! So I can just imagine the same amount of fun but with superior Wii controls.

This game should be interesting. I could definitely see a good shooter here. The Wii desperately needs a good, wartime, multiplayer shooter. To round out the lineup.

It might just be me but I'm getting tired of war games, but the wi-fi sounds cool.

If this game had split screen, I would buy it. But it doesn't.

I have to admit I'm excited about this one. I don't know if I'll shove out 50 smack-a-roonies for it, but excited none the less. First off (drum roll please) NO FRIEND CODES! Sweet God Almighty it's about flippin' time. Anyway Look for it Nov 13!

This beats sony's crap warhawk and most Xbox360 online titles. Nintendo for the win!

Psh, "casual gamers". Do n00bs get offended now when you point out they suck? There shouldn't be a politically-correct term for n00bs, that's all I'm saying.

I'm very glad that they're switching up the controls. We have all been waiting for online play, here it is! I hope it does well in this game.

It's about time the Nintendo Wii has gotten its first major multiplayer online game. 32 People online all over the world, that is just crazy. I am going to get this game for sure. The only thing that is missing or they are not saying whether this game will have some form of communication such as text chat and or voice chat. Either one will be fine one of them is needed. Can't wait until November 13th.

Man! I'm going to get this game, no Wii code huh? So it's an id name or what? That'd be cool, and I think there's no headset, you can text while in a game, by the way are there going to be stats?

I am definitely getting this game. I've been wanting to play a good FPS online for a long time now. I hope many other people are getting this game and I really hope it turns out to be a big hit. I look forward to kicking butt online.

Oh my god, finally, an online multiplayer shooter for Wii. I hope there's like rankings for kills, assists etc. That'd be cool, but it's not 100% necessary. And up to 32? That's a lot more than Halo can say, and I do believe Halo is a pretty kickass game, don't get me wrong.

Dear Game Veteran 2 there have always been sniper rifles in moh, at least in the PC games.
