A press release from Nintendo reveals exciting news for fans of the Metroid Prime series, particularly those who haven't played all of them. All three games will be released on a single Wii disc, Metroid Prime Trilogy.
As the name suggests, this disc will include all three Metroid Prime games:
Best of all, the first two, originally on GameCube, will have their control schemes updated to use the Wiimote.
Gamers in the US can expect Metroid Prime Trilogy on August 24th, 2009. There's currently no news on an European release, but that could be in the pipeline too.

I'm probably going to get this. I never had the 3rd metroid for Wii but I rented it and I liked it a lot.

Are you telling me I bought all the Metroid Prime games SEPARATELY for nothing?

If it's not too expensive, I will too.

I've never played any of the metroid prime games, I heard they were good, so this will be a completely good buy for me.

Booyah! I always liked the first game the most (the different beams rocked), but Corruption's Wii controls were amazing. Now I can have them both.

I would ask how this is possible. But then I remembered that the first 2 Prime games take less space than the 3rd game so I guess would be good. But Nintendo, give us something NEW.

Hey look, something old in a new package, we haven't seen that from Nintendo for some time! COME ON Nintendo, you can do better than this (you can, can't you? Please?).
Jettwinlock said:
Well I guess this should help make up for the sales of the 3rd game before.
