The "pink heart-shaped petals" are actually cherry blossoms, which are found very often in the game. "ToTaLgAmEr", in Okami, you play as wolf who fights demons of darkness and save the world. You use a magic paintbrush. It sounds weird, but when you play, it's amazing.
