Opoona matada

Opoona matada

Koei have announced a brand new game that's coming onto the Wii platform. It's called Opoona and is claimed to be a risky and innovative adventure.

You take control of a creature separated from his family on a mysterious planet called Landroll. You must explore various colonies and take on a number of different jobs, like detective, rescuer etc.

Interestingly, the game will utilize a one handed control scheme, using only the nunchuk. Sachiko Yukimura (of some Dragon Quest titles) is leading the project, along with Hitoshi Sakimoto who is doing the soundtrack. No release dates or media to speak of at this stage.

Good. Nintendo is still giving us new series. Even if they don't make them. I doubt that this game will be higher than E, based on the look of the picture above, but it might be fun. For some reason, this reminds me of Platypus from Miniclip.

Only the nunchuk? Wouldn't it be easier, if you're only going to use the buttons, to spread the commands out across the wiimote and nunchuk? Or maybe just the wiimote?

That'll be hard using only the nunchuk, because you'll have to hold up a useless wii-mote!

Sounds like it has some potential, but I can't say much about this game until there is some updated information. But of course you can count on wiis world to have the best most updated information on the best site!:).

Don't you need the wiimote to power the nunchuk? Maybe you just keep the Wiimote to the side.
