Before the end of the month
The official Pokemon channels were teasing this a day or two ago, but Nintendo has confirmed that the glorious yellow Pikachu 3DS XL (pictured) is being released in North America on March 24th. Of course, this coincides nicely with the release of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity.
The brightly colored handheld will come with a 4GB SD card and a price tag of $199.99 USD.
Any buyers?

I'm not enough of a Pokemon fan to justify buying a whole new 3DS XL, but it does look good.

That is adorable. But I'll stick to my Legend of Zelda special edition version, even if it does have the smaller screen.
