Some Super Paper Mario gameplay footage from the GDC has surfaced. The video shows off a bit of puzzle solving and general gameplay. Super Paper Mario is supposedly a hybrid of platform action and RPG elements. It looks like fun and will be on my shopping list. Due for release on April 9th.

Wow, looks like it almost has a LoZ feel to it. Overall it looks like a good game, but that camera view would just drive me INSANE. I'll probably rent this game before I consider buying it.

The 2D-3D swap is really cool. I guess, that way you never get tired of one or the other.

Awesome! I had, and beat "Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door". And this one looks just as good.

Can the camera be changed at any point or is there some sound or place in each level which means you can change view? Any button config kicking about?

Great looking game. I like how much it's changed since the TYD. It's really emphasizing the whole 2d thing.

Looks fun, the 3d action is really unique. I think it will be fun finding the secrets throughout the game. I just wish in the video they showed some of the action. All in all I think it might be a buy.

To answer some questions from what I know, the Wii Remote pointer function is used for certain things, like a flashlight that can reveal secret doors. Mario can change the view at any time for a limited time. Peach can float. Bowser can breathe fire. D-Pad is to move, 1 and 2 are to run and jump, A is for special powers.

I will SO buy this game.
