In a recent interview, Perrin Kaplan (Nintendo of America's Vice President of Marketing) stated that Zelda: Twilight Princess has sold over a million copies in the Americas alone.
Furthermore, she claimed that Big N are well on track to selling 6 million Wii consoles worldwide by the end of March. Wii is gaining rapidly on the Xbox360, whose sales are thought to be around the 10 million mark currently.

My story is just like jman0726. I never used to like Zelda. I always got sports games. I thought it was too kiddie. Until people started saying that Zelda was the best game for the Wii, so I got it in my bundle and it's so fun. This is the best game!
