Metal Slug Anthology User Review
Marco & Gang's seven adventures in one Wii disc, NEATO!
I just recently got this game on wii, and I must say it kicked major metal ass! The game has Metal Slugs 1-5 (including X) along with the recently released Metal Slug 6. Even though I haven't really known Metal Slug for very long, I really like the features of the gameplay and its storyline. Hilarity is a big part of the game, as there are funny things to see in Metal Slug. For example, if your character obtains too many food items, everyone knows that it will lead to obesity. However, obesity mode is not bad. The only downside is that the character is slower. But they can still jump high enough. The funny thing is that their weapons are altered. Your knife is replaced with a fork. I thought that was really funny.
Anyways, Metal Slug has the right amount of challenge and it has enough features to make it a legend. My favorite characters in the series are Marco and Fio. I like Marco because he's kinda goofy, yet an offensive player. And I like Fio because she's cute, sexy, childish, yet a very focused player. Anyone who's up for the good ol' run 'n gun game has to get this. Another good thing about Anthology is that it has Metal Slug 6, which wasn't released for systems yet. You also gotta like Morden's goofy soldiers. But watch it, even though they might be a bit stupid and cowardly, THEY MEAN BUSINESS! Hope you will all enjoy this beautifully funny run 'n gun game from our friends at SNK Playmore. And try not to laugh too hard if you see a Morden Soldier sitting on a toilet. Happy hunting!
