MySims User Review

It's a good game for the younger crowd.

When I first saw this game I thought that it would be a little young for me. But I got it for Christmas anyway. I AM a good Sims fan (I have most of the Sims games) and this game was surprisingly addictive.

You start out with a little town of 4-5 people and your job is to perform tasks (building different objects of furniture) and you need things called "essences" to kind of paint onto the different objects you have to build for the different people in the town. Different people prefer different objects (ex.-Scary people prefer "scary" and "sad" essences whereas happy people like "happy" and "flower" essences).

The sound in the game gets kind of choppy sometimes but not too often. As you play the game for a while you are able to build houses for people who are moving into the town in different areas, such as the forest and the desert, therefore expanding the town. This gives the game a pretty long lifespan. The graphics go into the cartoony angle which makes it seem a little young at first. But when you play it, it becomes a little more complicated and can be played by the slightly older crowd.

Overall, I think that this game would be advised for 9-15 year olds and for all the Sim fans out there. Hardcore gamers probably wouldn't be too interested in this game.
