Red Steel User Review
Lots of ups, a couple of downs.
I got this game with my Wii on Christmas along with Wii sports and Wii play. When I started this game I was nearly crying of frustration from the annoying sensor, that's when I learned you could change the settings. Here's a tip for you all, when you first get the game, go to settings and turn sensitivity down to low. Once you pass the game, or get about half way through turn it up to what you like. But when you start, make sure it's on low.
Now back to the game. Make sure you're in an open space for this game, it doesn't work when you're sitting down to play. Make sure you're standing up, ESPECIALLY for the sword fights.
The graphics are very decent, the menu graphics are crap all, but the game graphics are good as hell! The sword fighting is better than I expected, as you get carters and different style skills. I'm not going to tell you because that would spoil the surprise. At the start the sword fighting is lame but when you get to about 25% completion you get some new skills. The physics of this game are great, but they don't compare to Wii sports physics.
I love it in the game how you regenerate health if you stay out of danger for 10 seconds. Overall this game is great, it's a definite buy for the Wii.
