Super Smash Bros. Brawl User Review

The best Wii game, for now.

I must say I was not that impressed with Melee and preferred the original in every way. However then Brawl came along and so far there are only 3 minor disappointments to this game. Those being the fact Rayman and Bowser Jr aren't characters, lack of 64 stages, and the fact that Mario Kart 64 credits, Super Mario 64 final boss, and Sonic Adventure 2's Stage 1 hero music aren't part of it.

It has great gameplay, the controls are great on all 4 types [I prefer the Wiimote sideways personally]. The fights are perfect, I love how you can do cool things in the air and the whole final smash idea was badass! [If ya'll hate that, excuse my French]. Oh yes and build a stage is great. Being the sadist I am, I make my stages deadly.

The lifespan is one of the best, if not the best. It takes 9 hours minimum to beat the Adventure Mode and you have so many fun bosses and odd 2.5D platforming stages plus the addition of having 2nd player help out was great. I've beaten it but it took 4 months to do so [this is something I haven't seen in a video game since that GBA remake of Super Mario Bros 2].

The graphics, well they're about as top-notch for Wii as you can get, even now when Call of Duty 5 is out with these nearly Xbox 360 graphics.

The audio is great and to compliment that fact you got some of the greatest themes and pieces ever. Only 10 games ever have made a perfect on my list, this is one of the 10.
