The Godfather: Blackhand Edition User Review

An offer you can't refuse.

After seeing my sister play "The Godfather" for her PS2, I was instantly interested in the game, not to mention I'm a huge fan of the movies. The game itself is the basic gameplay that you can get on the other consoles, but it's for Nintendo. Let that sink in. Mobster violence in a Nintendo game. That sunk in yet? Alrght good.

You play as an uprising outsider of the Family and then you can move up the ranks by doing missions and making money. Basically a GTA clone, but it's a good one.

If you are a fan of the movie, you will not be disappointed with any of the characters and voices, except for Michael. Apparently they did not get Al signed to the project. Whatever.

The wii controls are basic, but still a blast, making your character beat a guy with a bat with a flick of your wrist never gets tiring. After half way through the game, it can get repetitive, the mobsters all start to look alike and so do the rackets, but that's the only problem I have with the game.

You have the wii, this is a must buy, you won't regret it, some of the reviews just do not give it justice.
