Wii Sports User Review
The fun of sports, with some of the pain!
If you haven't heard of Wii Sports, then you probably have to check how much you really like (Or love) your Wii. The actual game might not sound that great, but trust me, it is very, very, addictive.
Simply because it's on Wii. Smacking the tennis racquet against the ball onto the opposing side of the court, swinging your club in Wii Golf to try and get your ball into the hole (in my case, not very well), or hitting the baseball into a parking lot where you hit it through a guy's car window and getting in a lot of trouble (OK, that actually happened, but not in this game thank God) and getting a homerun.
The whole thing is amazingly satisfying, thanks to the innovation of Nintendo's new console. Enough with the Gameplay, now with the graphics. It's basically anything you would see on the Gamecube, which is disappointing seeing as the Wii is about twice as powerful. But, I'm not saying that those graphics are bad at all. The game has great textures, physics, effects and the animation is actually surprisingly good seeing as it uses Miis, which all add to the overall experience.
Now, the audio I gave a five because it doesn't really stand out enough. What I mean is that all you really hear is when you hit the ball, it bounces, or things like that. There is some music during bowling, but you don't really concentrate on the audio anyway.
This game is truly great, despite some of the things I said.
