The game of the forthcoming live action feature film of the same name, Asterix at the Olympic Games combines live action elements from the film with high-end computer generated and video game animation to deliver fans an original and highly entertaining Asterix experience.
Join Asterix, Obelix and his faithful hound Dogmatix on the road to Greece as they run to the aid of love stricken friend Alafolix. Much fun and madcap adventuring follows as Asterix and his friends enter the fray in their own inimitable style, coming head to head with Brutus, his muscle-bound champion, and of course their ultimate archenemy, the mighty Julius Caesar.

Doesn't this have Sonic and Mario in it?
Crimson Hawk said:
Oh, never mind, that is Sonic and Mario in the Olympic Games. Or something like that!

Mario and sonic uber own asterix.

What's asterix? I really have no idea whatsoever what is going on with this game. Is it some strange imitation of the ancient greek olympic games? Or is it some programmer's idea of a joke?

This game actually looks good.

Asterix is a comic book character set in Ancient Roman times. I had no idea that they are still making games about it, because the comic is OLD! There was an Asterix Gameboy game a while ago.

No way this will beat mario and sonic (by the way, I entered this from my wii).

Asterix is a cool comic barbarian. This game looks fun.

Isn't it a copy of sonic and mario just based in the roman/greek days?

I loved/love Asterix. The books and videos, the few games of it I had/have. Asterix is not a copy of mario and sonic. There's also one of the series called asterix at the olympic games which could be why they made this game? Not sure but it looks good.

This version of an Asterix game is based on the live action movie (based on the original comic book)that came out in Europe a while ago. The movie included mostly French actors, but also had Tony Parker and Zinedine Zidane in it.
kozinc said:
Actually, I think it's better than the movie.

Looks like a good party game. Like with all your friends n' stuff.

They made this game of the movie Asterix at the Olympic Games, if it was a rip off of the sonic and mario game it'd obviously be a rip off of actual Olympic events so none of it is a rip off.
