I think Nibris will pull a winner out of their hats. Sadness (though, not much is known about it) seems like it will be a truly innovative game that will symbolize what a Wii game should be like; of course, games like Metroid, Zelda and Mario would do that as well!

Problem is with games these days, despite different genre names they're basically the same. This is meant to be a classic horror, something new to the table, which is good enough for me.

lol @ Noah. It's a HORROR! Since when did horror games have uplifting titles that make you think of flowers and rolling fields!? If you get NOM in the UK, one of the mags has a small preview of it. Basically you can use the wiimote in a number of ways, like a lasso, an umbrella (to hide your face from the enemy) and you can creep up behind someone with the nunchuck and use the freehand to slash their throat! This game will be great.

It's based in Victorian times pre-1914 (before world war one). Apparently there is no onscreen menu or prompts to tell you when the game has autosaved. Should be interesting.

Like ganondorfrules said, I not judging anything until more information comes out. And anyway, just because the game is called sadness, doesn't mean it's horror. The genres are historic, action, and adventure. I don't see any horror there.

I know, NIBRIS is awesome. They were on forums asking people about raid over the river (a ds game they're making). They actually wanted to know what gamers thought. They're also really nice. The only other A game I've ever seen is man hunt.

After 'Mario Galaxy', this has got to be the game I'm anticipating most. You know how Resident Evil 1 was designed to look like a modern zombie movie (you can't see around corners etc)? Sadness is designed to look an old-school black and white horror movie.

Sadly Sadness is not coming until late 2008, or sometime in 2009. I heard that it has a big budget, however the team is quite small.

Good lord I saw official art for this game months ago, but I wasn't sure if they'd pull through and actually make it or not. I hope it does come out sometime in 08, not 09! I seriously can't wait to experience this, I won't even glance at reviews or anything once it's released.

I hope this is as good as Fatal Frame IV will look to be, I haven't seen a good horror since Resident Evil 4. I hope this is published by Big N, simply because then they will lose the uncool stereotype.
