I just went to Gamestop and traded in my GameCube. I got $45 credit for it. Sadly they were out of Wiis. I have to wait another week! Wii's Fund: $265. Wiis Found: None.

Still no luck. Now I have to get mine at a GameStop or EB Games because I have $45 in credit on a more card. If 200,000 units are being shipped out to the US every week and there are around 300,000,000 people in the United States, that means on average each state would get around 4,000 units. I live in Wiisconsin (lol bad Wii pun). We are an average sized state. I'm guessing there are around 1,000 stores getting units so that would be about about 4 units per store. Hmmm. Not looking good.

Nintendo rules! Sony drools! And to Elementrat: forget the numbers. When your credit's back to normal, ring up your nearest EB/Gamestop and ask when their next shipment is. Show up early and it's yours! Or you could just ask if they can put one on hold for you, though I don't know the policies on that. One more thing: what are the chances that each and every one of our 300,000,000 people want a Wii? As great as that would be, it's just not possible. A few of those people don't even know what a Wii is. And then there are those who wrote it off simply because they're Sony or Microsoft fanboys that feel the need to "stay true" and find ways to hate Nintendo. Your chances aren't as bad as you think.

First of all, when I said I got $45 dollars in credit on a more card for my GameCube, what do you mean "When your credits back to normal"? I traded my GC in for 45 bucks. How does that make my credit bad? Second, of course I know all 300,000,000 people don't want a Wii. I'm just saying that out of that ridiculously large number, there are many people who would. I'm simply stating that the chances of finding a Wii are slim, especially right before Christmas.

I already have a Wii and rayman and zelda nahna na boo boo lol. I got mine at toysrus at like 6 on the opening day and I was #4 in line.

I guess I misread your message, Elementrat. And I'm now wondering if this 200,000 consoles a week thing is true. No one seems to know when they're getting shipments in. All my earlier excitement is now just a simmering hope.

I got lucky and got one at eb games in pen. I got there at 5:45 am and we were 7th in line and there were only 5 wiis. The first losers there wanted a expensive ps3 and the guy in front of me didn't know what he wanted and just left so I got the 5th and final Wii in stock and I got the last Zelda at the store. I can't believe how lucky I am but all I can say is Nintendo RULES.

Ps3 aren't that good at all. The blue ray for dvd's makes the slightest difference that you'll barely notice and the dvd's cost $10 more. The games are ok, cod 3 is sweet but resistance sucks. The ps3 tries to do motion sensing but it turned out horrible. Just leave it to the Wii. Internet is hard to control. By the time you learn all the controls it'll be 2018. Why do you need internet that is part of the cost for the ps3 when the Wii is making and INTERNET CHANNEL for free, that's right for FREE. The ps3 is a waste of money and the Wii rocks and it is also inexpensive, es muy barato. Wii ROCKS.

I'd try the targets man. There was one here that got 69 shipped in for the 19th of Nov. Got in line at 10:30pm and had to wait until 8am just to get the tickets to go in the store to get em. Didn't need to be that early though the crowd didn't show up untill like 7am. But they sold out as soon as they went on sale. Got a free DVD though that had a lot of trailers for the games and stuff about the Wii.

If you haven't got a Wii yet before Christmas, it's very possible that you won't. But don't be discouraged, the week after Christmas there will be a lot of Wiis, so go to then and you will get one. That is how I will get my Wii.

Oh my god. I swear they do not ship them. I've been trying Target for two months also, and still no Wii's. I call at 8:00 every morning to see if they've shipped them. Nintendo needs to ship some!
