Boss Battles on Intense is pretty tough. The keys are persistence, patience, and luck. I think me and my roommate will get it soon.

I love the boss battles, I've already beaten it on hard. Hope I'll be able to beat it on very hard soon. I say the key is to air dodge, that word pops up in every boss guide on the dojo site.

Interesting quote on the Dojo website: "I wonder if a monster player who can clear the incredibly challenging Intense level without using any Heart Containers may exist somewhere in the world.". Got news for them, I've seen someone do it, and they didn't even take a single bit of damage. And the most surprising thing is: they did it with Mr Game & Watch.

Me and my boy are about to get it on intense. We always die on that 1 hit KO move from the final boss. I don't really think that's too much of a spoiler is it?

Damn I beat all the bosses on very hard after many unsuccessful attempts. It took patience, skill, blood, sweat, tears and some hearts. I love your captions!

To avoid the shock wave, try using a side-step (I think).

To dodge the circles of death just do the down dodge, hold R when he goes to the back, then tap down like half a second after the circle comes out, it takes practice but don't worry you'll get it.

Yes Wii rox it's best to side step. Most people think shielding and then moving left and right is the best way to dodge, but I find shielding and hitting down on the joystick (that's what side stepping is) much easier.

I despise the last boss! But he's much easier in Boss Battles (unless you're playing Intense).

I used the sidestep technique, it does work (I have done it several times), but it is tricky to pull off. I remember the first time I tried it. Avoided the first two blasts, but died on the third.

The rolling dodge is the only way I have managed to successfully dodge all three shock waves. Air dodges only dodge the first (and sometimes the second) wave. With three well timed rolling dodge. The one I have the most trouble on is the grapple whip of his.

It's flippin easy for me to pull off the side step and Aaron you may have done it incorrectly because it works for me.

I can make it to the final boss on very hard with Ike, but I always die. I can get past the shockwave attack, so that isn't my problem.

Well yes the boss battle mode is very hard. I think when you beat the game with Fox on any mode you get the character Wolf, he is sweet and my favorite character.
