Very good set of characters. I'm looking forward to this game, I couldn't get the one on gamecube. I wonder whether 'Baby DK' will be DK Junior, I hope so!

Wii Freak, look at where it says "Kremling". Now go up two characters and read what it says. They loaded it up with babies like Mario Kart Wii. They even added another one, Baby DK. If they did all that, why is it that they left out Baby Wario? Unless I'm forgetting anyone, he's the LAST notable baby from any Mario game. Why would you NOT include him? Baby Mario and Luigi are shoe-ins, and Peach is alright. Daisy is just a damn filler. DK is meh (Besides, Diddy is close enough to Baby DK. Casual players will probably get confused). Who the hell wouldn't want to be the rambunctious little nasty baby. The one who causes the most trouble? Besides, I know from personal experience that as kids, almost everyone wants to be Wario. Come on. Nasty, fat, nose-picking, farting, ugly, greedy AND rude. What could be better? By having Baby Wario, the players wouldn't fight over Wario. Damnit, Funky. Stay out of my Mario games. He's cool as a DK character, but outside of the DK games, he feels out of place. Blooper = wut? Kremling? Weird, but okay. At least K Rool FINALLY gets some love. I really wish he was in Brawl though.

Sorry for the double post, but I see DK has that damn glove again instead of a bat. Which reminds me, I hope the batting isn't complete crap again. Some of the characters were almost unusable at the bat, especially Boo and King Boo. I think they tried to hard to Mario-ify it and they ended up with batters that are impossible to get a hit (much less get a run or God forbid a home run.) and just look absolutely ridiculous. Sometimes, I'm embarrassed to hae someone watch me play. Some of the bats were awkward, making it even harder. Everyone needs bats. (I'm looking at you, DK and Petey.) They all need to be normal bats with different designs. (I'm looking at you, Toadsworth, Magikoopa, Hammer Bro, and a couple of others. ESPECIALLY Boomerang Bro, good god). Better yet, you should be able to choose between a normal bat or some kooky weirdo bat. MOST IMPORTANTLY, every character needs to swing like a normal human. I'm alright with A LITTLE flavor, but some of them were just unusable. The only actual batters I liked to use were Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Birdo, Koopa, Shy Guy, Fire Bro, and Dry Bones. Yoshi, Bowser, and Hammer Bro were a little weird, but playable. Everyone else, especially King Boo and Boomerang Bro were unplayable. Come on Nintendo, don't screw up again. It's okay to have a cartoony game, but there's a limit.

What no Baby Wario, no King Bomb-Omb from 64? If they're going to make a boring game at least add worthwhile characters or introduce (Baby Waluigi).

Sorry fred, but I think the "baby DK" they're referring to is the one from yoshi's island ds. This game has A LOT of characters, and also I think I saw luigi's mansion in there.

I'm getting a little tired of all the baby characters, the game looks great but I think Nintendo could have a better use of Mario world characters. The trailer was awesome, that was a total cheap shot donkey kong made on Luigi but he got up. GO LUIGI.

Seems typical. Last game's intro, it was Mario making the home run. Now it's Luigi catching a ball.

King K Rool would have been an excellent addition to Mario Kart Wii, but I'm glad he's in this game.

It's good that they're trying harder to represent DK now (and I've actually grown to LIKE his new voice). Also, how can goomba be in, he has no hands, how can he hold the bat? (not complaining, just sayin').

Who says Baby Wario and Rosalina won't be unlockable? And no, I've never wanted to be a disgustingly crude nobody, Fishmon. And I can speak from experience and say most everyone does NOT want to be Wario.

Wow this game seems pretty cool. I'm not too sure about the line-up, it would have been nice to see Rosalina and maybe even Skeletal Bowser, but anyways I'm still so happy they've included Blooper, King K Rool, Wiggler and Tiny. It's about time.

At least some sites are up to date (some don't even have Hammer Bro). This is the 2nd game ever I really want to buy when it comes out.

Some characters have to be unlockable. Dry Bowser shouldn't be in this game. I don't even know who some of these characters are.

The characters themselves aren't that great a factor in a general sense. If this has the same set up as the gamecube version then it should be real good. The characters share chemistry with their friends and feed off of each other whether gunning some one at home with your catcher being a friend or batting next to a friend in your line up. I loved this set up, because realistically you should not have an all star line up all the way through. That is where the no name characters come in play and even things out. There are a couple of tough characters to use, but it's no biggy for the most part. The classic control is the way to go on this one though, hopefully they allow the use of it like smash brothers has.

It sucks that Rosalina is not in, she is the best character in mario kart because I own people with her. But this is still worth buying.

It looks great. I hope they have the special fielding talents. I know they have batting and pitching talents but I hope they bring the fielding talents. Because in the other game Yoshi could catch a ball with his tongue from 2nd and he could be at 1st! But when I saw Luigi pitching special it was a tornado not the green fireball. Weird. I am going to get this game.

Yoshi's tongue catch is not that long, but he is still the best player in Mario Baseball. Yeah Bowser, bring it on.

What? Where the hell is Baby Wario and Rosalina? Seriously, Blooper? Come on, Nintendo. I laughed at Mario Party 8, but this just disgusts me.

Idown you're wrong, this is going to be a great game - you'll just have to admit it. Oh and about baby wario, what game has he been in besides yoshi's island ds. Nobody even likes regular wario anyway.
