Ecco and Golden Axe hit the VC

Ecco and Golden Axe hit the VC

Two new Genesis titles have been added to the Virtual Console lineup.

The first is Ecco the Dolphin, an underwater adventure where you take control of a dolphin.

Second is the arcade classic Golden Axe, a side-scrolling hack n slash fighting game with fantasy stylings.

Each game costs 800 of your Wii points.

A warning to those who have never played ecco, it's extremely hard at points and can drive impatient gamers up the wall. But if you're looking for a challenge and a great classic genesis game, this may be right up your alley.

I played an echo game on dreamcast, good graphics for the time, as with all dreamcast games. Never played Golden axe though.

I always loved playing the Dwarf on Golden Axe ! He was the best and it was easy to get to play him, because other guys, like my brother and my friends always wanted the Big Guy, who was crap by the way ! And my sister always wanted the woman . what were the differences? I think it was, the woman was weakest but had the best Magic Capabilities, the man was middle in both, and the dwarf was strongest with weakest magic, and who needs magic? When you kick the crap out of them!
