New Wii Channel - Everybody Votes

New Wii Channel - Everybody Votes

Wii has a new channel on the block, it's called "Everybody Votes" and it does exactly what it says on the tin.

The channel poses regularly updated questions to the user, which you vote on by choosing one of the two available answers. You can then view the results, both on a local and global scale. Polls you've taken part in are archived so you can still view them at a later date.

Current polls are:
*How do you like your Egg : Boiled or Fried?
*What do you prefer : Eating or Sleeping?
*If you have free time do you : Go and party or stay in and relax?

Some real conundrums there for sure. I don't know about you, but I kinda like both eating AND sleeping! To get Everybody Votes head to the Shopping Channel and choose Wiiware.

I was just on it, one of the questions is do you like dogs or cats? I chose dogs.

Man, I just heard about this a while ago. What a surprise! I don't think anyone was expecting this at all. I think it's really cool. I haven't tried it out yet (I can't) but I think this has some great potential as a sort of "communication with Nintendo". Example: "Would you like another cell shaded Zelda?". If Nintendo used this as a form of idea test market for products, we could see some seriously SWEET stuff in the future.

Downloaded it. Pretty cool. I like polls. So far my prediction accuracy is 100%, with a whooping 1/1. Yeah. I suggested a question that WILL be asked soon. Because I'm sure as heck I'm not the only one to suggest it: Pirates or ninjas?

That'd be funny if they had Wiis in the Voting booths for the Presidential Election, or something like that. But boy, is it fun to watch the results come in, with like a hundred Miis on one side and five on the other. I recently lost a poll, prediction wise. It was red or blue. I had everyone predict red would win, but my Mom picked Blue and she won. Lucky.
