Game sales - Nintendo owns top 15

The game sales figures are in for the first week of 2007 (January 1st - 7th) in Japan. Amazingly the top 15 slots are all games for Nintendo machines.

  9. Kirby Squeak Squad (DS, Nintendo)
  10. Pokemon Pearl (DS, The Pokemon Company)
  11. Mario Kart DS (DS, Nintendo)
  12. Jump Ultimate Stars (DS, Nintendo)

When it comes to Japan it looks like the more original a game is, the better it'll succeed. Nintendo has worked really hard to get to such new heights. They've deserved every credit they've earned.

Makes sense logically seeing as Wii is selling 2:1 against PS3 and the DS is selling 5:1 against PSP, and the Japanese don't like the Xbox or 360, so that leaves Nintendo to completely milk the market, and come out on top with a $1 billion+ Profit at the end of the year!
