YES! Now let's see a new control scheme too! Hey wait, will this cost less now, since we don't have to by anything but a controller shell and game?
Crimson Hawk
SWEET! Now all they have to do is make a "Drummer Hero", that would be EVEN SWEETER.
Some Random Person
Awsomeness. I can't wait for this, Guitar Hero 1 and 2 are my all time favorite games. Can't wait to see what this will be like on the Wii.
wiiman
That sucks it is released so late, but still Wii got guitar hero 3. This is a dream come true.
Joseph The Squriel
Yes! Rock on!
GiGANToR
Hey I bet they will make the guitar like a peripheral that the Wii controller slides into.
Yoshi-1up
That would be cool if you can insert the wiimote on the guitar and it can detect motion and the guitar sounds come out of the wiimote as well. That would rock so much.
Ian C
Cool I wonder how the wiimote will be used in this one.
Wiipaw
Rock out loud!
Quartzlcc
Oh no. Play some DDR, people. This game seriously doesn't even give you a workout. DDR does. It's just a rip-off of DDR that actually is worse.
Wii Freak
At least they have a release date. Unlike SSBB.
cmk
I knew it was a good idea to wait for it on the Wii.
Scooby Jew
Dude, they better add some metal songs this time, and not that wannabe stuff either. Anyhow, about the game coming on to Wii; FRIGGAN AWESOME! I might actually consider getting good at the game now.
Gonzo
Wait! Is this the game on the Xbox 360, that has some guitars with it? If it is, that's going to be crazy. Now, Nintendo's stepping up.
Elementrat
Yes Drum hero does sound absolutely wicked awesome, but keep in mind Harmonix may not work on it themselves.
The Hamburgler
Fall 2007? That's about 6 months earlier than I expected. That kicks ass.
um
That jack is sweet.
wii-mote dude
This totally just made my day.
Hey
Well wiiman, Guitar Hero II was only JUST released. It takes a while to make a full-blown sequel.
The Fire
And a score goes to the big N!
BrothaZ
Do you guys really think you'll use the wiimote on this one?
Ekaj185
Yea, make drum hero. I would own everyone.
adamfedoruk
No, you rats. Stop and think. There will be no guitar that the wiimote "slides" into. It will be the same guitar and it will use the gamecube controller ports.
Wii Wii
Hell yea! This is going to be freakin awesome!
DragonFoxCoon
Combine that "Drummer Hero" idea with the two guitars from this "Hero" and add vocals. You've got yourself an entire band! Wouldn't it be nice? Wouldn't it be BETTER if the guitar was actually wireless this time?
DragonFoxCoon
You know what could make this game better? If we could import music from our memory cards, then turn it into playable tracks in the game. Wouldn't it be nice?
Franksy
Let me tell you this "wii owners will be very happy over the next few months".
Mark
It's a game called rock band, coming out. Guitar hero was just the beginning. Rock band will have drums, guitar, etc.
someguy
Hopefully it doesn't back out on its release date like SSBB.
Woot
I can't wait for drum hero, they could do so much with the Wii remotes.
RAS
Will you be able to play without a guitar?
Stranger
Listen, for this is the truth. In GH3, you put the Wii-mote in the guitar, so that means it's wireless. You play the game like normal. There are many new songs on the game, I can't even name them all. Also, a lot of people say that rock band sucks, and I believe them. So, after seeing some reviews, I'm putting a thumbs down to rock band.
wiimaster10
It's a pain in the butt to have the Wiimote in and out when you want to play a different game. If I were you, I would wait until rock band Wii because the rock band guitar includes a USB hub to plug into the back of the Wii which makes it wireless.
