Hogs of War 2 Wii-bound
In its latest batch of financial reports, publisher Infogrames describes a new title heading to the Wii.
Hogs of War 2 is a follow-up to a game originally released on the PS1 and PC. Something similar to Worms, HoW is a turn-based strategy game involving pigs in combat. It also includes vehicles.

I loved the original of that game for PS1, awesome. Way better than all the Worms 3d games put together, and it did it before Worms 3d.

Oh this was a good game back in the day, but I'd like to see some new twists, in a modern market it would feel very stale.

The original was awesome, great multiplayer game and a country mile better than worms. Well done Infogrames for bringing this perennial favourite back, hopefully all the bad times are behind you.
I've tried a million times to play hogs of war on my "new and improved" Vista. That's how I came on this site. Now I am really looking forward.

Hogs of war is not a worms rip off, it was 3d way before worms was. Hogs of war all the way.

Ya, Hogs of War originally came from another game from the PC. Don't know how it's called. Its roots are older than Worms and the game is a lot more fun as well. Can't wait until it comes for the Wii.

I STILL play Hogs. It's the one game, when I get together with my old uni mates, that we will dust off and play for hours and hours. Although these days it's accompanied with rather good red wine rather than cheap cider. Happy days. They MUST use Rik Mayall though or it'll be utterly pointless.
Most cool game ever made. Still playing it. Hope new one will be set in WW II arena, with gestapo pigs, and kamikaze svines.

It's been so quiet for so long I'm starting to wonder if this game is still being developed. Hope it comes out though, loved the original, such a brilliant game. Oh and it's not a worms ripoff, sheesh.
