Iwata unhappy with Nintendo of America

It seems like Nintendo President Satoru Iwata isn't completely impressed with how the US division is performing. In a recent interview he commented:

"When I received a report from the US that they sold 1 million Pokemon Diamond & Pearl already, I asked them 'why did you sell only 10,000 Brain Age last week, when Europe sold through 30,000?'. This is a typical example of how I communicate with our people in the US.".

Watch out Reggie, there's no pleasing some people.

Strange, 'cause -I'm- entirely unimpressed with Nintendo of Europe. Anyway. I don't really get what Iwata is complaining about here. Don't the sales usually depend more on the audience than the distributor?

That is strange considering he hired Reggie.

No offense to our American friends, but maybe they are just not interested in the whole having to think "thing". Can't exactly blame Reggie Fils-Aime for what the American people do not like.

Well, I never liked him much anyway. I still remember that line about his customers not wanting online play.

That is completely no fair! Next thing we know we will be on the streets and he'll be pointing a gun to our heads and telling us to buy Brain Age.

Why is it that he's hatin' on other people because Pokemon D and P sold more than Brain Age? It isn't our fault Pokemon D and P is so much better than BA.

One more thing: is it NOA's fault that a popular franchise slaughtered an unknown? If Iwata wants to blame someone for that, blame Ken Sugimori and GameFreak for creating a pocket monster killer.
