iWin supporting Virtual Console

iWin supporting Virtual Console

According to a job posting, casual games developer and publisher iWin are set to support the Wii and its Virtual Console. iWin are known for titles like Trivial Pursuit, Jewel Quest, Mah Jong Quest and Family Feud.

This doesn't get me too excited. But take the time to sit back and imagine. A Nintendo released, available to everyone, simple development kit for the Wii (similiar to Microsoft's XNA studio). People would be able to create their own homebrew games and then for a fee, sell them on the Virtual Console. Being a casual programmer, the idea of that being possible makes me drool.
