Reports indicate that Japanese retailers sold through their Wii stock of 400,000 consoles on launch day. This means that the Wii has already sold over a million units worldwide.
A further 600,000 consoles will hit Japan by the end of the year. 500,000 are expected in Europe for the launch on Friday, December 8th.
