Jet Set Radio on Wii

This is speculative right now. Apparently a trademark was filed last week for Jet Set Radio, separate from the original one done in 2000. This has sparked rumors that Sega is bringing the franchise onto the Wii.

Born on the Dreamcast, Jet Set Radio puts the player into a pair of rollerblades. You skate the streets spraying graffiti, performing tricks, taking on rival gangs and generally "stickin' it" to "The Man". The main character is Beat (he made a recent appearance in Sega Superstars Tennis), but you can unlock other skaters too.

I can't say I played the original, but the sequel JSRF was definitely cool. Jet Set Radiooooooo! Ahh classic.

I think that it will most likely come to Wii because of Sega's position now. They seem to be attempting a comeback with resurrections of some of their Dreamcast IPs.

This better be the truth! I played the original for the Dreamcast, and well I still love it. Hell, I still play it. But I hear that it's not going to happen, but it better. Personally the first was the BEST game ever released, so they need to make more.

The original was fantastic, the music and the artwork were so cool, the concept was passed on to the sequel, but I didnt feel that it was as good. Let's hope the the new Wii jet set radio will be amazing.

I liked the Jet Set Radio Future for XBOX. I loved the Jet Grind Radio gameplay and the tennis minigame version on SEGA Superstars Tennis. Jet Grind Radio was the best of Jet Set Radio series. I hope the Wii will have the same gameplay as Jet Grind Radio. But if not I'll still love it.

I love the music on the game. I hope they have some of the same songs, or new ones. Like: Hummin' The Bassline, Oldies But Happies, or Funky Radio!
