June 18-24th Japan console sales

The sales figures are in, showing us how many consoles sold in Japan for the week of June 18th - 30th. It's the same old story really. Xbox 360 has slumped back down after its "good" week. PS3 still sucking. Wii and DS laughing all the way to the bank.

  1. Nintendo DS - 163,888
  2. Nintendo Wii - 65,582
  3. Sony PSP - 32,984
  4. Sony PS3 - 9,581
  5. MS Xbox 360 - 3,369

Yeah! Go Nintendo! There are some news on Gamespot that some companies are leaving Sony just to move and focus more on Nintendo Systems!

Who's buying psps? Seriously, who lowers themselves to that. It must be replacements for dead psps, as ps2 sales are mostly replacing a dead ps2.

God, Sony and Microsoft are just eating the dirt in Japan. It's actually really pathetic. I mean sure, it was a bad idea to oppose the Wii, but still. Only 3,000 consoles in one week? That's pitiful to the largest extent of the word.

Every weekend when I go to the electronics store, I try to find a reason to buy a PS3, and then I discover that there is none. Sony should be ashamed to have Microsoft gain such a firm grip on the industry in such a short time. Nintendo should too, but they did something about it by changing their strategy, and it's paying off big time. Anyways, we all know the deal, same old same old.

I can't believe japan doesn't like 360 as much as PS3 but I really don't care because DS and Wii dominate again.

I know it has been the same for weeks, but what happened to the x360? Good news for the Wii though.
