Official US Console sales for June
The real NPD numbers are in, looks like Michael Pachter was pretty close with his predictions. US console sales in June look like this:
- Nintendo DS - 562,000
- Nintendo Wii - 381,800
- PSP - 290,100
- Xbroke360 - 198,400
- *GBA - 113,000
- PoS3 - 98,500

Nintendo also dominate the June software sales chart:
- Mario Party 8 (Wii) - 426,000
- Wii Play (Wii) - 293,200
- Pokemon Diamond (DS) - 288,400
- Pokemon Pearl (DS) - 214,700
- Forza Motorsport 2 (Xbox 360) - 197,400
- Guitar Hero II (PS2) - 197,350
- Guitar Hero II (Xbox 360) - 177,600
- Pokemon Battle Revolution (Wii) - 157,900
- Resident Evil 4 (Wii)
- The Darkness (Xbox 360)

Well, there's only one word fit for a situation such as this, and I do believe it's no less than perfect: OWNED! Or pwnt. They have the same meaning to me. The principle stands with either one: Sony and Microsoft must bow down to and fear Nintendo. It's so easily comprehendable what Nintendo does that's different: Care. Now to rub this into my ps3 owning friend's face about his low console sales. He thinks the ps3 is on top. I think he's a moron. Two games on that chart I want to get, RE4 and Mario Party (well my bro would want it more).

This is so funny, and yes all the ps3 fanboys do believe they're on top. Their fanboyism is simply insane. Assasins Creed gives mii the giggles, ps3eans can't see an already existing game there called prince of persia.

DS and Wii, nuff said. PSP is doing respectable numbers for some odd reason. I have not seen any real reason to buy a PSP this quarter except for the PSP lite, which is nothing to get excited about. Rightfully dubbed Xbroke360, is keeping its head up even though that it is painfully obvious that 360s are terribly built. Microsoft did themselves a huge favor by extending the warantee, but I wouldn't get too excited. It's just a longer lasting band aid. Good ol PS3. Killzone 2 will do nothing dramatic for PS3 sales. It will always stand in the shadow of quintessetial console FPS that is Halo. If Sony keeps getting beaten in sales by a handheld that is supposed to be discontinued, then something is wrong.

It is strange how the 18-year old everyone should have GBA is out doing the less than 1-year old PoS3 that almost everyone dosn't have. Oh, Wait that isn't strange, the PoS3 SUCKS! On a side note I agree with wiiiii about agreeing with Master Foot.
