Kirby on Wii this year?
Four days ago a PDF document was released by Nintendo on the official Japanese website. It mostly describes finances, but also lists some future releases. Interestingly, it says a Kirby game will be hitting the Wii sometime this year.
Despite widespread rumors of development being halted, this could be Kirby Adventure, originally planned for the GameCube. An early trailer for which is available below:

It had been canceled later last year, so it may be a mistake.

Well many games have been made a certain console and then cancelled so that they can be re-programmed for the newer console that came out, so it is probable that is what happened to Kirby Adventures. It looks like an interesting game (looks like the characters you inhale become your allies when you exhale) and give us a bit of a differance from other games.

That would be great. I've always loved kirby games and I've always wanted to play a 3D game that doesn't involve racing.

I hope another Kirby game comes out soon. Kirby Air-Ride was the best. But Kirby Adventure ain't no racing game as far as I can tell.

I doubt it Rags I doubt a hge flagship series would be delayed more than 2 years after a systems release. Probably won't come out til' Fall/Winter this year Looks so good.

Hmm, hope it's like the N64 one, it's my favorite game in the series. But what really intrigues me is Disaster: Day of Crisis on there, as we've heard very little about it to this point.

I had heard from someone who claims to be a game tester for Nintendo Japan (I don't know if he is or isn't) on youtube that the Kirby game was to be released late 08, so it might be possible. Nice to finally hear something recent about the game.

I was disappointed with Kirby 64; with a 3D environment, you'd think it'd be more than a side scroller. Sure, having four players at once could be fun, but I'd like some freedom with the movement. Anyhow, I also spotted Animal Crossing on that list. Can't wait for that one.

MP3 was never released in Japan, they are getting it soon. But this Kirby game looks good. I was really looking forward to it. Maybe we will end up getting it.

Disliked the game for the N64. Never bothered trying Air Ride for GCN. Better improve everything if it reconsiders production.

If my source is to be believed (he has been very reliable), it will be officially be announced at the E3 and released the Fall or Winter of this year in Japan, then released either last part of 2008 or beginning of 2009. We will know for sure in a few days.
