Lost in Blue game on Wii
Konami has revealed they intend on bringing the Lost in Blue franchise onto the Wii. Previous games have been on the DS handheld.
Lost in Blue sees you stranded on a desert island, the immediate focus is on survival and exploration, with an eventual goal of escaping. You look after several aspects of the main character, including hunger and thirst. In all it's something like "The Sims" meets "Cast Away" (or indeed, The Sims 2: Castaway -.-'). Konami's Anthony Crouts spoke:
"Building upon the success of the previous Lost in Blue DS titles, we wanted to give fans an extended experience in the first console version of the series. Bringing the series to Wii will ensure fans receive the most exciting, immersing survival adventure game to date".
Around 40 survival tasks can be undertaken, all using the Wiimote. The game has a working title of Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked and should be coming out this Fall.

They've all been mediocre thus far, from what I've heard. Maybe it'll be better?

I played all three of the DS versions, and they were all great. Glad to hear they'll be bringing this to the Wii, hopefully it doesn't fail.

Lost in Blue is awesome, but I hope they make this one more user-friendly. "Damn you Skyeeeee!".

Hmm, I wonder what mysteries you will encounter in this adventure. Will you be haunted a series of numbers? Will you be chased by black smoke? Will you find a guy named Jacob, who looks exactly like one of the main characters, in a cabin. Who knows?
Guitar Legend
Great.

Another game that's too casual, why couldn't you do a Metal Gear spin-off Konami why?
Wiipaw
First thing's first, DKL. They absolutely HAVE to realise the original metal gear games, fully translated and localized, on the VC.
Mountain Man
Maybe they'll actually make it fun this time. I never bothered with any of the DS games because every review I read talked about how tedious and frustrating they could be.
Wiipaw
Those reviews were accurate, Mountain Man. I particularly hated the save system, which if you got very far, but forgot to save, and you are close to death and don't know it (poisionous mushrooms usually take time to take affect), and you decide to save, then die a few minutes later, you have basicly created a "black hole" as I call it.
