Mario & Sonic Winter Olympics 2010

In more Sonic-related news, it's been revealed that a sequel to the hit Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games could well be coming, this time for the Winter Olympics. The licensing and merchandising director for Vancouver 2010, Dennis Kim commented:

"Last year, in 2008, they had a very successful game using Mario and Sonic at Beijing, as well as a multi-sport simulation type of game. That's what's being discussed and planned for Vancouver. We're feeling optimistic about sales because of the Beijing experience".

The first M&S Olympics game scored reasonably well in reviews, would you be interested in a Winter version?

You should make a "Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games 2" (this time with Rouge the bat, Cream the rabbit and Silver the hedgehog).

The first one was indeed successful because.. well nobody knew how it was going to be. Now everybody knows, and I highly doubt this will be successful. Although, the first one wasn't bad, just easily boring.

Yeah, was the first one successful? I thought it was OK, but some of the mechanics suck! I would rent this one to try it.

There are 4 new characters. Team sonic: Silver & metal sonic. Team mario: DK & bowser jr. It's out October 13 and already has my money.

This was one of the top 10 best selling Wii games last year or something like that. This might be decent, especially with the new balance board use.

I just bought the first game yesterday, very addictive, Still not sure how the Wifi works, only found records where you compare others. I thought it would be more like Mario kart. I hope the Winter Olympics will be more to my liking, especially the skiing and hockey. Hope the controls will be easier. Even though I have said about the wifi and the controls, I did say it was active. Pulled a back and arm muscle from one day of playing it, with breaks! Great work out. Pre-ordered my copy a month back.

They just shot the commercial for Europe in our village and having seen a pre-release it's actually quite good.
