Wow, they're pretty nice! Mario is in his classic kart, but it looks like everyone else decided to get a new vehicle for this game. Peach has a motorcycle, Bowser has a car with the engine sticking out (don't know what those cars are called), and Luigi got himself a dirt bike.

I sure hope the player chooses the character and the vehicle, because if you couldn't put Luigi in a car, what's the point in getting up in the morning?

I think these are just examples, each character gets to choose a kart or a bike as far as I know.

I think PHiRE is right, you probably begin the game with some vehicle choices and can unlock more as you progress through the game.

Aeth, it's a muscle car, if I remember right. And I hope they don't just stick with the basic characters. It's getting annoying to see the same old characters and stats (Balanced Mario, Powerful Bowser, etc. Even though it fits). Put Rosalina or Vivian in.

Also new screenshots show a batch of new characters: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Yoshi, Toad, Wario, Waluigi, Koopa, Baby Mario, and Donkey Kong. Interesting they have Baby Mario there. Crimson Fang's request for Rosalina or Vivian might not be that far-fetched if Baby Mario is there. Also it looks like Donkey Kong and Wario also have a muscle car; Mario, Waluigi, and Donkey Kong have a dirt bike; and everyone else is seen driving various other types of race cars.

Really nice! I'll miss the team factor that was in DD, but the new cars will make up for it. Anyone know when this is going to be released in the US? And Diddy Kong Lover, there is a HUGE selection of tracks, not sure how many characters there are.

They are all COOL. Peach looks cool with her motorcycle and Luigi with his dirtbike looking all bad ass. Also Mario and Bowser, Mario with his mini go cart and Bowser with his pimped out ride, that he don't fit in. And what's up with Yoshi, Toad and Wario, how come they're not in the picture.
