The title may be getting old, but there's some interesting ways to play this using the Wiimote now (i.e Shake the wiimote for dice rolls, not to mention what you can do in mini-games).

These games have been going downhill ever since 3. I regretted buying 4 and 5, hated my rental of 6 and didn't even bother with 7. If they don't shake things up soon this series will end up more infamous than Bomberman!

Yeah I hear ya Singapore. I bought 4 & 5. I kind of liked 4, but it got old really fast. 5 was horrible. I checked out a few reviews for 6 and then decided it would be horrible. Apparently I was right. Since then, I've avoided the Mario Party series entirely.

How does your name translate? Anyway, Mario Party has been made too many times. The only way to save the series would be to start from the ground up. Hence, I wouldn't mind a more Wario-ware themed Mario Party. Wonder what they'll do with the wii-mote?

Mario Party is the best one I've played. I rented 1, 2 & 3 when I was 5 so I don't remember. But the games were pretty fun (IF you have FRIENDS).

I want to see the new Mario Party 8 because I will buy it for my daughter's christmas. My daughter loves Mario Party 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7.

I love Mario Party! I don't know how people can get boring. Who cares if the games are still slightly the same? They have some difference and new minigames and stuff. In fact, I have a version of Mario Party with 5 minigames (it's singleplayer) on my calculator. I'm going to buy this.

This game should atleast have a minigame related to Mushroom Mix Up from Mario Party 1. It probably will though, who knows.

Mario parties are awesome. We have Mario parties almost every weekend with our friends. Lets say there is lots of laughing, yelling and even hitting. Can't wait for number 8!

Nintendo got carried away after Mario Party 3, but I'm interested to see if the Wii can reform it.

Nintendo keeps on putting Mario parties because people keep on buying them. So if they still sell say hello to Mario party 2000 in the year 3000 on Nintendo's virtual reality console.

For those who only said Mario Party was boring. I got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 mario party games. All I need to complete my collection is to get mario party 8! None of the series were boring.

Mario Parties are the best, and like itache it-ah-ch-e said, I have them all too. Just need number 8, it's going to be the best. You would want this game! I have my mario party 8 reserved.
