A new screenshot for Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games shows off what seems to be the full character roster. Unsurprisingly they're all from the Mario and Sonic franchises.

Where is donkey kong? The mario games have a lot better characters than sonic. I hate a lot of sonic Characters, so sega should put Amigo and NiGHTS because they were in Sonic Pinball Party (a game with sonic).

Ya, I saw that on sonic rush. Ya might want to replace that! Wonder if there are unlockables. I would change the roaster a little bit. Either from Nintendo to sega, or my way. Either maybe mario at the top, and luigis next, I don't know why they would put all the power dudes up front. Oh well. At least you get to play with them.
They should've replaced vector and blaze with rouge and metal sonic.

Don't feel bad, Wii's World. I didn't know who that was either. Anyhow, this game seems like it's going to be a good game, but not epic or great. Just worth mentioning and probably nothing more.
The purple girl from sonic is Blaze the Cat, a pyrokenetic. Plus, cool update.

Why are Yoshi and Daisy Speed?
I noticed something. If Vector is in Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, and Espio's in Sonic Rivals 2, I wonder where Charmy will appear in.

I saw Charmy and Espio in the background. They might be only referees like Toad and Cream.
Why is Vector the only Chaotix member playable? And Nova, I can't say about Daisy, but Yoshi has always been a speed character. And Espio I think is a referee just like Cream. I did see Charmy in this game, but he's only in the audience. I forgot where I saw him, but I did.
Don't get the daisy being speed, but of coure yoshis speed. He's been holdin on to speed in all the mario sports games. Like power tennis! I don't get why knuckles gets to be first on the character selection screen. It should be mario, then sonic, or luigi.
Yoshi - speed: Mario Superstar Baseball. Daisy is a different story however.

Daisy would've been in skill with peach, but then there would be 5 people for skill and only 3 for speed. They had to make it fair and put daisy in speed.
Ugh, Vector and no Espio? FIND THE COMPUTER ROOM! Vector fails. Blaze the Cat though, SWEETNESS.
I wonder where Rouge is? It seems weird that they included vector. I thought for sure he would end up like a referee like charmy and espio.
Blaze the cat is a secret character from sonic riders. And yes it should have been rouge not vector.
First off, Blaze shouldn't be in there, she's a relatively new character. I agree Mecha Sonic should be there. Finally, Daisy is NOT a speed character and Blaze isn't in Sonic Riders, unless I missed something in-game.
I read that Silver (ugh) and Donkey Kong are unlockables. Damn I hate Sega, no respect with the old characters! I bet there are a lot of people that would rather have Metal Sonic instead of Silver. Or it should have been Metal Sonic instead of Eggman.
They should scrap that purple thing and put in rouge, and donkey kong must be an unlockable character.
I agree that Daisy is not speed. I do not think Metal Sonic would fit in the game, because to have a robot in the game just seems weird. He would be great BUT still. Unlike Mario, Sonic really does not have that many other character they could have use. I mean beside Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Dr Eggman who appear a lot.
I think that it would have been a very bad idea to put in metal sonic as a character because it defies the whole idea of the "Olympics". He would have been a strength character and those are already good characters.
You can unlock Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong and a bunch of other classic Sega and Nintendo characters such as Toad, Toadette and the Hammer Bros.
How do you unlock toad?
I heard you can unlock dk and silver by beating all the world records.
NOT ALL OF THE CHARACTERS STINK! Yoshi, and, Daisy are blazing fast, Knuckles is really strong. (You'd be suprised) Yes, there are swimming events, they are the 4 by 100 meter relay, and the 100 meter freestyle. (Sonic wears a life jacket). Cream is an official as are Espio and Charmy.
Purple thing? Wii's World, I'm disappointed.

Cream, Espio, and Charmy are the officials in this game, there are NO unlockable characters people. None whatsoever.
I still love Wii's World, believe me Wii Freak! I can't wait until my 20 page Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity review gets posted.
The refs are Shy Guy, Toad, Lakitu, Cream, Charming, and the one purple guy from the Sonic games that's friends with Vector.
Waluigi Fan, the purple guy from Sonic games that is friends with Vector is ESPIO. Espio is my favorite character and they should have Espio in that game.
I have beat all the world records and you don't get donkey kong or silver the hedgehog.

Dude I wish they had silver in this game. If they did that would be awesome. I think Dr. Eggman should be replaced with him and that silver should be in the skill type. His psychic powers are cool.
Why isn't episo, donky kong, charmy, toad, toadett, silver, birdo, dry bones, cream, goombas, koopa troopa, and rouge playable characters.
The only reason espio isn't playable is because sonic and shadow are more famous even though espio is like the 3rd fastest character in mario and sonics teams.
