Mario and FLUDD together again

After helping Mario escape the death penalty on Isle Delfino, you might have thought you'd seen the last of FLUDD. Think again, he's back for a Brawl!

If you're unfamiliar with Super Mario Sunshine, FLUDD is a water spraying machine with a variety of nozzles. Mario carries FLUDD around on his back, like Luigi with the vacuum, only more manly.

Does the F.L.U.D.D give any damage? Because it looks like it doesn't.

Now I wonder what moves were taken off for the fludd. Maybe Mr Sakurai will include Dr Mario. Just make Mario a whole new moveset and Dr Mario will be in it so people won't say who needs clones.

I liked the idea but I'm not too pleased about the fact it does NO DAMAGE whatsoever. Kind of makes Mario look a bit of wuss, when we all know he's not. I just can't see anyone being pleased with this move. 'Take this Pikachu! Water shoot!'. Yeah, nice one.

It said that this is Marios's special down and B move but they also said he will still have the original down and B move the Mario Tornado. So it makes me wonder how many new moves they have included.

Actually, now I think just like Mario, Luigi's down special move will be his vacuum, and his final might have Mario's final smash, but green.

Oh FLUDD. So, do you think that this is going to replace the old cape swing? It looks like he still has the tornado move. I don't think they'd get rid of the fireball or the jump. I guess that leaves the cape. I don't know.

FLUDD replaces the Mario tornado and Mario tornado is now a non-special (A) move.

Wait a minute I know now. This doesn't give them damage this just pushes them away? Is that useful?

Look people, it's a good move to have on you. The FLUDD pushes people away, even though it doesn't do damage. Good for people trying to come back on the stage or a race to grab the final smash orb. You got to use your head if you're going to be any good in brawl.

Probably not. He grabs with his hand like always. If Luigi's final smash is his vacuum, maybe he can use it to spit out elements like fire water and ice just like in the game.

I wonder if you put on fludd, he'll be there until you take him off by his down special move. I also wonder if marios going to have a new set of moves if fludd gets attached on. Like the standard is squirt water, the side is turbo, the up is rocket, and maybe if you hold a in the air when he has fludd on, you could hover.

I think it'll be sort of like Bowser's fire breath, its range decreases after time.

I can't believe nobody understands the usefulness of the FLUDD. It easily pushes them away, they come running at you and you push them before they get anywhere near you. The moment I saw this I loved it because it makes Mario a better technical character. Plus he's still got his tornado as an A button move.

I'm glad some people use logic and like this move. If it doesn't do damage it obviously throws opponents back a lot.

Mario finally has an awesome long range move. He always seemed to be at a slight disadvantage when it comes to using projectiles but the fireball is still 1 of my favorite specials.

Dragoon3646 has got a point. It'd be good to use for pushing away people trying to recover or to keep em at bay while going for a special item. They would probably take the push away thing out if it did damage. C'mon, people. Mario has plenty of moves to do damage with. I prefer the push away thing.

Could this possibly mean that characters can interchange moves? Or have different move sets?

I hate FLUDD, he's so annoying. His role in Sunshine was even more important than Mario's, which made the game really retarded.

Douse a lot of characters with this move. Foxes, up special move, and charizard, and don't forget bowsers flame.

I'm not saying it's a bad move, it's an awesome move but it should do damage making it better.

The fludd's "push away" ability is probably an example of how the havoc phyics system is incorporated.

Mario can't have tornado as down a smash because in the trailer they show snake watching mario use down a smash on link.

This was a pretty cool update, glad to see Fludd again. I wondered if he'd show up again. The no damage thing is bad but I think it's still pretty awesome and I think it'll be fun using him.

If isle delfino is a stage, then fludd should be in.

Fludd is basically a super charged water blaster. Causes damage, enemies don't flinch.
