Mortal Kombat moves video
Midway have released a taster video showing off some of the controls for Wii's upcoming game Mortal Kombat: Armageddon.
The game fully incorporates the Wiimote / Nunchuk, they're used to perform all the moves and it looks pretty sweet if you ask me. Purists can instead opt for the classic controller or even a Gamecube pad.

Is this the first attempt at a fighting game incorporating the wiimote? I was always skeptical of how the Wii would handle certain fighting games.

Looks cool and all, but I like the old style fighters where the moves AREN'T easy to do. I'll definitely try it out though.

I'm sure all the cool moves will be harder. The fatality at the end shows that they went the combo rout. I'll bet there will be a lot of that kind of stuff. Come to think about it, you can do complicated motions with the wiimote just like you would do on the thumbpad of yesteryear.
