It's been a long time coming, but the Wii's News Channel is set to launch this Saturday, January 28th (2007 in case you forgot what year it is).
The news is coming straight from Associated Press (AP to their homies), with whom Nintendo have struck up a 2 year exclusive deal.
I just wish I could have Mario reading it to me. Maybe one day. Let's-a-go.

Wii's World is not officially affiliated with Nintendo! (but they wish we were).

Yes. Finally. News on my Wii in a second. Will this be Wii news and world news or just world news?

I would've had internet but I accidently pressed, "I do not accept" to the user agreement and now she doesn't want me to get internet anymore. That was a bad move by me.

How can it take this damn long!?

I feel your pain Gonzo, my routers not working right now, but when it does, I'll be typing here from my Wii.

It better not be the "quality" news like that of the local news networks. "Goomba stomps on Mario", now that's NEWS!

Launched today, friday.

Hey Gonzo, can't you just try the installment or whatever it was you were doing again?

I don't know how. But I updated my Wii and got it the day before. You can get local, national and international news as well as other topics-- and it even shows where the news topic's location is with the globe too. It's really cool.

What? I've already got the news channel and its friday! It's good because it has the globe like on forecast and has news reports 4 that area, you can make a slideshow turn on and every 5 seconds it changes the headline, and there's a globe on top that rotates every new heading 2 the area it's in, well if you didn't get it you'll probably see tomorrow.

Just connected to the News Channel. Nothing spectacular, but it's nice. I like how it has the globe view like in the Weather Channel.

. Uhm. I already got it yesterday. Maybe the day before. Twilight Princess makes me lose track of time. It definitely wasn't today, though. Wasn't much to look at yet, really. I'm also surprised there's no gaming/Nintendo news section. Like, new release dates and stuff. Then again, that may make Wii's World obsolete.

Hmm. Saturday the 28th? I think I did forget what year it is. Should we be expecting this Saturday or Sunday? Cause my slot light hasn't made a peep.
Owlboy said:
But it came out on the 26th in the US.
Ralindil said:
Aw, I just got it, and it's ONLY world news. We want to see some Nintendo news.

Today is valentines day, and did you guys get the letter from Nintendo, for the secret channel it's called the "everybody votes channel" and you vote on a bunch of polls. Nobody knew about this, except for Nintendo, and it's free.
