Nintendo overtakes Sony's market value

Bloomberg Asia reports that Nintendo's market value is now higher than Sony's. Phenomenal DS and Wii sales have given Big N's sales a tremendous shot in the arm, valuing them at 6.57 trillion yen overall ($53 billion USD). Sony is down around the 6.48 trillion mark. Nintendo spokesman Ken Toyoda commented:

"We thank the high evaluation on us from the market. We want to meet market expectations with expansion of our DS and Wii sales".

Nintendo did everything right- they're still trying to meet consumer demand, but in the process are outselling the 360 2-to-1!

What exactly is market value? Of the company? Nintendo makes just games. Sony makes TVs, games, and about everything else. If market value is the company in general then..

Does it mean that SCEA has less market value than Nintendo's games division? Or are they referring to Sony as a company? If what Dave suggested is true, then BluRay is in more trouble than it seems. PS3 will surely make or break Sony this generation.
