Opera shortcuts

For your reference, Wii Opera has a few useful shortcuts that you may not be aware of unless you've read the manual or the official web page.

B and Up on D-Pad: Refresh page.
B and Down on D-Pad: Favorites.
B and Left on D-Pad: Search page.
B and Right on D-Pad: Go to URL.
B and -: Back a page.
B and +: Forward a page.

Yea it kind of annoyed me how when scrolling I would accidentally press the (-) or a D-Pad button.

I'm a little disappointed in the full version. The Wii still can't play a lot of video formats and that upsets me a lot. MTV for example, is rendered useless. I'm excited about some of the new features and shortcuts but it was never the functionality of the browser that needed updating before but the usability instead - something which I quite frankly think is still lacking. Hopefully there will be a way to update plug-in software in the future or another browser choice because the biggest advantage of internet on your TV comes from viewing video on the web and right now Opera isn't up to par unless all of your content comes from YouTube.

The Internet channel is just a novelty item. The picture is still blurred and I don't see any point in not just going the few steps away from my couch to reach for my laptop when I need the internet.
